OSHA (The Occupational Safety and Health USA Academy) was formed in 1970 with the mission of eliminating preventable deaths at work, in homes and communities, and on the road through leadership, research, education and advocacy. OSHAcadmeyUSA offer a comprehensive range of globally-recognized, qualifications designed to meet the health, safety, Food and environmental management needs of all places of work. In accordance with OSHAcadmeyUSA, Basic principles of a safe workplace and safety philosophy, the primary objectives are:
- to build upon safety experience in the field and to teach innovative ways of ensuring that employees and students understand and retain more of the critical information necessary to prevent accidents and save lives,
- to provide support for safety professionals through access to quality resident training courses, access to quality independent study courses and access to quality and affordable training, planning and assessment materials, and to provide expertise in planning and implementing safety programs. Since there is no formal government approval or accreditation of certifying agencies, the value of a certification is determined by its acceptance and recognition. OSHAcadmeyUSA helps keep all stakeholders safe by promoting home and community safety by safety excellence, innovation and advocacy.
